How to Find More Success
Hi 😃. My name is Sonny. I am currently studying BYU pathway worldwide and I am planning to pursue Bachelors in Applied Business Management at Brigham Young University - Idaho. I will begin my first entry blog by sharing my thoughts about success and I want to focus on "how to find more success."
When I was in grade 6 level I dream to be a businessman. At the young age I started learning entrepreneurial skills. I made candies and snacks such as tamarin candy, caramelized milk, sweeten coconut string, pastilias and popcorn then sell it in the class during breaktime. I even made to expand branches by recruiting other pupil in the other sections and grade to become my seller. But somehow while growing up I felt something missing, while looking others I wish I could have something that others had. I dream that I have something to give. I dream to be SUCCESSFUL!
Some people will say "if you have a lot or bulk of money then you are successful." Most of them say "if they have a good and happy life then they considering themselves a successful." If you owned a house, a car, business or you are educated person then they say you are successful." Well if you have one of those.. that's good!...How about you? how you measure success? Allow me to share Pres. Thomas S. Monson message that inspired me a lot. In his message he said: “It is not enough to want to make the effort and to say we’ll make the effort. We must actually make the effort. It’s in the doing, not just the thinking, that we accomplish our goals. If we constantly put our goals off, we will never see them fulfilled. Someone put it this way: Live only for tomorrow, and you will have a lot of empty yesterdays today.” To find more success it is important to have your GOAL. Ask yourselves, what do you want to accomplish? then, plan HOW you will achieve or attain those goals. Another is your RIGHT PURPOSE. Make sure that you have a clear reasons and measurable objectives that will help you to motivate yourselves and know if you are reaching the goals you have set. Set SMART goals—goals that are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time bound. STAY AWAY from NEGATIVITY. Believe that you can and by making an effort you are DOING the all possibilities, not just thinking, not just dreaming but making and doing your DREAM as REALITY.
